Auto Mobile & Diesel Technology

Auto Mobile & Diesel Technology focuses on the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of petrol and diesel engines. Students learn practical skills in vehicle systems, engine tuning, and modern diagnostic tools to work in the automotive and transport industry.

Overview

The DAE Mechanical technology (Power) with specialization in Auto & Diesel offered at various institutes of TEVTA has been designed to teach students to apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Workshop Practice, and technology fundamentals & advanced of automobiles, in short we can say that students of this technology study about bumper to bumper all systems of Automobile. In the first year, basic subjects comprising the fundamentals of technology accompanied by allied (i.e. Workshop Practice & Drawing) and related studies (Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, etc.) courses are taught. 2nd year involves training in a broader field with medium complexity level from Automobile Mechanics, further raising awareness regarding Applied Thermodynamics and Suspension, Steering & Brakes. The final year, students will be taught how to Analyze multifarious technology more practically by carrying out final year project Work and Studying advanced level subjects like Motor Vehicle Inspection, Fuel Injection and Carburetion, Automotive transmission, Computer Application in CAD & Automation, Earth Moving Machinery, etc.

Career Outcomes

Automobile Technician – Diagnose and repair vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Workshop Supervisor – Manage operations in automotive service centers or industrial maintenance shops.
Machine Operator / Maintenance Technician – Operate and maintain mechanical systems in
